These last few weeks have been a whirlwind! I’m trying to get packed to leave at the crack of dawn in the a.m. for Des Moines. Pretty nervous about my first real on camera experience!! I’m taping some videos for the BHG Scrapbooks etc. website. So I’m studying my scripts and one of them is like 15 pages of info!! Now, I don’t have to have it memorized–but I definitely have to be familiar with it. The good thing is…once I’m on the plane in the morning, I have a few hours to relax.
That’s a word that hasn’t been in my vocabularly for awhile…so I am looking foward to the ride!
I still have a couple of assignments to get finished today–ones that are due while I’m away. But, for the most part, I feel a huge sense of relief getting my Scrap A Faire class mostly done and putting this trip behind me…I’m getting ahead of myself, aren’t I! I’m looking so forward to seeing the "behind the scenes" of Scrapbooks etc. —I love finding out how the magazines come together…its amazing! I’ve been to CK’s office once, and it was so cool to see how these publications all come together.
Daddy and the kiddos are headed off camping while I’m gone. Okay…let me just say what a brave and good husband I have. How many Dad’s would truck the kids off (kids including a five month old baby) on a camping trip while Mom’s away? He’s a keeper. Love this man.
