Here we go again! Another simple, stress free 30 minute page. How are your pages coming? A page a week is totally doable, I think! I'm still excited, motivated and have picked out my pictures for the next one! I'm finding that if I am mindful of what subject matter/photos I want to scrapbook, then when I get a chance during the week I print the pics. When I have time to create the page…it comes together quickly…and I'm having FUN with this!
Here's today's page! …again, I used my circle cutter and pulled out a few miscellaneous items from my stash for embellishment. I also love to include date stamps & little mini calendars to record the date of my events/photos. The one pictured is part of a little collection I'm working on…hopefully it will be ready to share by month's end.
I love to mount my title on a nice sized circle. Here, the title of my page is "3" — as these pics were from Cash's third bday. The page is totally simple but with a medley of a few rub ons and chipboard pieces it makes it look much more detailed. The orange strip is a sticker I used to pull out the orange from Cash's sweater…and it looks great with the patterned papers!
Remember…it's OKAY to have white space on your page! In fact it's a good thing! Notice how it makes my photos really SHINE!!!
This week I challenge you to play with layering a few goodies to create a fabulous, interesting title.
You can mix stamps, rub ons, swirlies, chipboard, buttons, gems…you name it!
Great products I used are from:
Teresa Collins Design — the papers (BRAND NEW…look for these papers in stores in the next few weeks)
If you want to play along …you can scraplift my layout or do your own thing! Be sure and add your page to the Flickr photo pool and tag it with week 3 so everyone can enjoy YOUR inspiration too!
